About Susan Wendelboe

A native of England, Susan Wendelboe brings a unique global perspective and a passion for fine living to her real estate career. Her journey began in Switzerland, where she obtained her hotel certificate, followed by extensive travels that ultimately led her to New York City. There, she honed her design sensibilities at the New York School of Interior Design and earned a BA in English from Fordham University at Lincoln Center.

Susan's connection to Columbia County began in 1973 with the purchase of a weekend home, sparking a lifelong interest in the local real estate market. In 1997, she made Old Chatham her permanent residence, immersing herself in the community by opening a popular food and gift shop. Her deep-seated love for real estate, however, proved too strong to ignore, and she soon obtained her broker's license.

Since then, Susan has been a dedicated and knowledgeable fixture in the Columbia County real estate market. Her diverse background in hospitality, design, and business gives her a unique ability to understand client needs and find the perfect property that aligns with their lifestyle.
