Reta’s connection to Columbia County runs generations deep, forged by a rich family legacy in both real estate and agriculture. Raised in the area, her upbringing provided a unique vantage point: her parents owned and operated Milton Meisner Realty for decades, while actively farming and co-founding the beloved Hudson Farmer's Market.
Having lived in Columbia County her entire life, Reta possesses an intimate knowledge of the region, its land, and its vibrant community.
A Diverse Professional Background
Reta’s journey in the real estate industry began remarkably early—she earned her real estate license at just 18 years old. Beyond real estate, her professional background spans multiple disciplines that allow her to offer exceptional value to her clients:
Financial Expertise: Holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Siena College and owns Reta Meisner Consulting, a financial management firm.
Industry Versatility: Brings hands-on experience across accounting, general contracting, real estate development, and farming.
