Harvest in the Village: Reflecting on Chatham OctoberFeast 2019
Originally Published: October 2019
Through our ongoing partnership with Columbia County Current, Beach & Bartolo is proud to share the community traditions that make the Village of Chatham such a vibrant place to call home. In October 2019, our streets were transformed for the annual OctoberFeast, a celebration of fall, local food, and Hudson Valley heritage.
The "Plaid Picnic" & Community Table
A standout feature of the 2019 event was the Plaid Picnic. This alfresco dining experience invited neighbors to dress in their best plaid and bring their own table settings to a massive community harvest table. It was a beautiful display of the small-town spirit that defines our region.
Main Street Music & Entertainment
With Main Street closed to traffic, two stages hosted a full day of live music. The lineup included high-energy performances from Brasskill, Side Show Willie, and the Rock Academy, while WDST provided a live broadcast to listeners across the valley.
