Literary Arts: Andrea Barnet & The Columbia Land Conservancy
To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Columbia Land Conservancy hosted local author Andrea Barnet at the iconic Spotty Dog Books and Ale. Andrea read from her book, Visionary Women, which chronicles the lives of four renegades—Rachel Carson, Jane Jacobs, Jane Goodall, and Alice Waters—who changed the world by breaking convention.

Community Celebration: Dancing Through The Decades at The Falls
Hudson residents gathered at The Falls for a unique musical journey from the 1950s to the 2000s. Coordinated by Christina Snyder and catered by Chef Yvette, the event featured music by DJ Shawn Gille and encouraged guests to dress in the style of their favorite decade.

Family Programming: Folktales and Stories with Pamela Badila
The Hudson Area Library hosted performance artist Pamela Badila for a special story hour. Families explored global traditions and ethics through folktales passed down through generations, followed by interactive craft and music activities.
