Through our ongoing partnership with Columbia County Current, Beach & Bartolo is proud to document the diverse cultural programs that enrich our community. In November 2019, the Arts Center Theatre at Columbia-Greene Community College hosted a magical performance by the world-renowned Tanglewood Marionettes.
An Underwater Fantasy
The production of "The Dragon King" brought Chinese folklore to life through the intricate art of marionette puppetry. The story followed a wise Grandmother’s journey to the bottom of the sea to seek answers from the Dragon King.
Audiences of all ages from across the Hudson Valley gathered at the college's theater to experience:
