Halloween is quickly approaching, and the energy in Chatham is electric! As we prepare for the annual arrival of ghosts and goblins, it’s time to get the candy ready and mark your calendars for some of our favorite local traditions.
FilmColumbia is Here The FilmColumbia Festival kicks off the festivities, offering a world-class cinematic experience right here at the Crandell Theatre. It’s the perfect time to grab a seat and catch award-contenders before they hit the mainstream. I’ll definitely be in the audience this year—hope to see you there!
Halloween in the Village The Chatham Area Business Alliance is once again hosting its annual Halloween in the Village celebration. This is a "must-do" for families. Main Street transforms into a festive autumn playground where kids can decorate cookies, join the Scavenger Hunt, or trick-or-treat at our local shops.
Treats for the Adults The fun isn't just for the kids! If you’re feeling festive, head over to the Hudson-Chatham Winery. In years past, they’ve offered special treats for those arriving in costume—it's a great way to sample our local vintage while celebrating the season.
Stop by and See Us! We’ll have the candy bowls full and the games ready! Whether it's a beanbag toss or a "guess how many" contest, we love seeing the creative costumes our neighbors come up with. Stop by Main Street over the next two weekends to experience the community spirit that makes living in Columbia County so special.
