Marcy Heintz, Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker
With a background in accounting and bookkeeping, Marcy has over 30 years of experience as an Associate Broker in the real estate industry, covering every facet of the business from Residential to Land and Commercial sales as well.
Marcy believes in helping buyers and sellers with honest, straightforward, one-on-one professional service. She has seen many changes in real estate over the years affecting both buyers and sellers alike and enjoys helping both sides navigate the system.
Whether she’s helping an out-of-town buyer find that desired weekend country home, a retired person looking to downsize now that the children have left home, or guiding the first-time homebuyer to establish roots with a home in their price range in an area close to their employment, it’s always a “feel-good” experience when it all comes to fruition.
On the seller side of real estate, she advises clients through the intricacies of all the listing paperwork, makes suggestions on preparing their home to show, and then devises a marketing plan that is most advantageous to finding them a buyer.
Born in New York City, Marcy has spent a good deal of her life in Columbia County. After living and working in the downstate area, she currently resides in the town of Ghent. She was formerly on the Board of Directors for both the Columbia Northern Dutchess MLS Service as well as The Columbia Greene Board of Realtors.
In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, hiking, collecting antiques, supporting local charities, traveling, and entertaining. Marcy feels that combining “hard work, perseverance, and a sense of humor” can help anyone achieve their goals in life.
