After the recent volatility in the stock market, many investors become nervous and wonder if they should make changes to their portfolios. First, In Real Estate an investor is in control, you can reduce your expenses, you can raise the rent, unlike the stock market where you have little or nothing to say about how a company is being run. In Real Estate, you are always helped by inflation, as prices go up so does the value of the investment. Thirdly, tax advantages are available in Real Estate Investments that don’t apply to the stock market. For me Real Estate is something I can feel and touch, as opposed to having a symbol of a corporation on paper whose value can go up and down daily.
