Once you have identified a few potential properties, the next step is critical. Often, even savvy consumers don't realize that when they click "Contact Agent" on sites like Trulia or Zillow, they are often being connected with an agent who is paying for those leads.

This person may have never stepped foot in the house you are interested in and is likely not the listing agent.
