Beginning August 17, 2024, the NAR settlement will introduce significant changes to real estate practices nationwide, including right here in Columbia County. What Buyers Need to Know

Buyers will now be required to sign a written agreement with their agent before viewing a property (including virtual tours).

This agreement must clearly outline the agent’s compensation details.

No written agreement is required for initial discussions or when attending open houses.

What Sellers Need to Know

MLS listings will no longer display whether the seller is offering compensation to a cooperating broker.
